Standard Bank Polo In the Park
Let’s face it, South Africa loves a polo event. Mine, being the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Cape Town. However, if you are looking for a fun day in the sun here in Jozi, you should attend the Standard Bank Polo In The Park. The inaugural event will take place at the luxurious and illustrious Steyn City. Yeah, I know it’s far, but when you are there, it’s an oasis of opulence and decadence. Besides the action packed polo played on the fields, expect to be entertained, wined and dined throughout the day. “Polo Through the Ages” sets the theme for the event. I’m sure we’ll see your faves and instagram influencers doing the infamous dress toss in the wind. The coveted do will boast an Aspire Art Pop-Up Gallery, a Bulgari Jewelry Lounge, a fashion emporium, jazz and hip-hop performances and finally a luxury car showcase.
