The West Hollywood EDITION Preview Launch
When Ian Schrager is behind a property, you know it is going to be epic! Joining the ever expanding list of hotels from the swanky group The EDITION, is the first west coast spot in West Hollywood. And as one does, the preview was wall to star studded. The likes of Paris Hilton, Winnie Harlow, Diplo, Dylan McDermott, Estelle, the golden Barbie Jasmine Sanders, Cee-Lo Green and many more.
“We are in the Mona Lisa business…we aspire to be the best hotel in California; that’s always our approach. With architecture, design, entertainment and service, we try to offer something that people have never experienced before,” said Ian Schrager. “I was lucky enough to be part of West Hollywood’s second cultural rebirth, and now with a whole new wave of hotels, apartments and restaurants, I’m happy to be part of its third renaissance, recapturing Sunset Boulevard’s magic and immortalizing it with that same ethos.’
Guests were treated to a family style dinner prepared by Chef John Fraser in the landmark restaurant Ardor. More celebs join for the speciality cocktails at disco ball covered entertainment venue, Sunset. Janelle Monae and Q-Tip brought the house down with their performances. The only thing that was miss was…me! At least I know where to stay when I go to Los Angeles.
