SA Fashion Week Driven by Honda South Africa

When ZebraSquare invited me to SA Fashion Week, I said “Say less, I shall be there!” There used to be a time in the beginning of my career, where I would see Joburg’s elite attend the shows and all the who’s who would hob nob between shows. Now I’m invited to the whole week, and I’m sitting front row at shows.

What I love the most about SA Fashion Week is that. the focus is on South African Designers and the business there of. Besides the runway shows, there are workshops throughout the couple of days - there are also resources for the creatives from fashion stylists, to editors and buyers. The platform sets up the designers to succeed in the industry.

Attending my first day of SAFW, I got picked up in the ultra sleek and stylish Honda RS. The perfect ride to get to the fashion shows. The comfortable vehicle served as my mode of transport for the duration of SAFW. I need to get behind the wheel of it soon for #ToolzTastes. What do you think?

One of the runway productions that impressed me the most was Viviers, who placed rose quartz crystals at our seats. The creativity and strucure of the enormous collection was unprecedented. Hauting, yet romantic from very interesting accessories to a story that portrayed the garments well.
