Fellow Travelers

Based off the book by Thomas Mallon, of the same title, “Fellow Travelers” tells a love story of two men, hiding their relationship during the McCarthy-era in the 1950s, when it was illegal to be gay. The lovers played by Matt Bomer & Jonathan Bailey try to hide their love through their trying times. In the trailer, we catch glimpses of them getting older and Bailey donning a wool hat - aka getting bald from gay cancer.

I am intrigued to see this limited series and I have been a longtime fan of Matt Bomer.

“Fellow Travelers” a 7-part series premieres, October 27th on Paramount Plus with Showtime.
